For the sixth consecutive year, the Umbriametraggi section presents a series of works by Umbrian filmmakers, selected through a specific competition. A jury formed by members of the Umbria Film Festival has chosen, among several entries, twelve short films that will have the chance to be awarded an additional prize, as judged by a specific jury. Different stories, styles, genres and points of view will showcase and spread the new trends of
independent cinema, and whet the curiosity of the diverse and demanding audience participating enthusiastically to the festival. Experts and enthusiasts will gather in Montone, between the theater and the square, between the alleys and the panoramic views, to a place of choice for new ideas, meetings, exchanges and interactions.
