Daniel Dillon is the owner of Kingdom Come, a small village on the mountains of Sierra Nevada. Dillon is engaged with Lucia, the owner of the local brothel. Everything seems to be going well, but the arrival of three strangers: Elena, Hope and Donald Daglish, changes the life of the village. Elena and Hope are, respectively, Dillon’s wife and daughter, who had been sold years before by Dillon himself in exchange of a handful of gold nuggets. Donald Daglish, on the other hand, has been charged by the Centrai Pacific Railway with finding a route far the railway that is going to be built there.
