The multinational corporation “Calair” a producer of tires, has announced the imminent closing of the plant of Campolaro, which will cause the firing of dozens of workers. Deciding not to surrender, the workers organize various job actions and struggles that gradually bring their situation to the attention of national media. Among these employees, Antonio dreams of going back home to live in his village with his companion Nina, who is currently working in Milan. A labor union organizer named Salvatore and his 18 year old son have a very contentious, conflict-laden relationship. Further, Mario wants to find a new life buying a factory that makes fresh pasta. When “Calair” decides definitively to clode its doors, the workers undertake an ultimate action to protest. But by this point it is unfortunately too late.
