The 10-minutes cartoon film THE SAUSAGE RUN tells the tragic story of a little lamb with the help of multiple Zoetropes, loosely based on the well-known Grimm’s fairy tale ‘Little Red Riding Hood’.
Thomas Stellmach
Thomas Stellmach is director, producer and author of short animated films. He lives and works in Kassel, Germany. Amongst 100 international awards for his independent productions, he received the Academy Award (Oscar®) for the stop-motion film QUEST in 1997. In 2000, after completion of his artistic studies, he founded together with two partners the animation studio “Lichthof – Film & Animation” in Kassel specialized for TV and advertising. Stellmach left the company in early 2009 to focus on artistic animation projects. His films are produced in stop-motion, 2D and 3D computer animation, pixilation, experimental ink animation in stereoscopic.
