Synopsis
A special family of moon guardians lives on a tiny island and deals with the ups and downs of their everyday life, along with the tide. The film depicts the delicate balance between the characters and the environment they live in.
Biography
Giulia Martinelli is an animator and director from Italy, based in Zurich, Switzerland. After graduating in 2016 with her short animated film MERLOT, she has been working as a full-time freelance artist developing personal projects and client commissions. Marea is her first Swiss-produced film.
