FUMIO OBATA
He was born in Tokyo in 1975 and moved to the UK at the age of 16. After completing a BA in Illustration at Glasgow School of Art, he attended the Royal College of Art, and he was selected to take part in Channel 4’s Animator in Residence Scheme at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television in Bradford. He completed his residency film at Red Kite Animations in Edinburgh, where he is now based.
